This wonderful area is a real garden, in fact it is known as the “garden of France”. It was used by the French noble ancestry as a resting place and retreat for centuries. The result is a beautiful landscape dotted with 19 stunning fairytale castles, Renaissance architectural masterpieces.

Classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, between Sully and Chalonnes, Loire are a showcase of evolution of French architecture, from medieval times to the neoclassical style. His condition is great and its great beauty, speaks about unimaginable splendor in our century.

Any of them separately and worth visiting, but the most famous so Azay-le-Rideau, built partly on water, built for Francis I Chambord and Chenonceau, called the Ladies Castle, a playground for several queens.

The tourism potential is varied routes. You can be a journey of 1 hour hot air balloon flying over castles. There is also a themed cultural trail, Historic Route Jacques Coeur, founded 50 years ago, 100 km. which shows lesser known castles. You can also make the trip from the river that is navigable. There is a specialized agency once a year chartering a boat for a cruise for two days.

Although the most natural and traditional country to visit is by bicycle, has spent years being fashionable. In fact there are enabled route green lanes for bikes, as well as local roads.

The type to build a castle (set consists of a walled compound enclosing a courtyard, around which are a series of units and that has at least one habitable tower) in medieval times is repeated in different parts of planet.
4. A castle with mud.

Rayen Castle (Arg-e Rayen) is located in Kerman province, southwest of the city of Rayen, Iran, and is an architectural miracle survivor of numerous natural disasters. Miraculous considering above all that is at least 1,000 years old, belonging to the pre Islamic Sassanid Empire.

5. Castle des Chevaliers (Syria)

Or Krak des Chevaliers, a castle in Syria. In times of the Crusades, was the headquarters of the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem. Today is recognized as a World Heritage Site.

6. A White Castle (Himeji Castle, Japan)

Himeji Castle is located in its namesake city in Hyogo Prefecture, and is one of the medieval jewels of the country. It is in perfect condition despite the centuries, and is the most visited country.

7. Strong Lahore, Pakistan

Call Shahi Qila, is located in Lahore, Pakistan, and is an impressive city walls guarding a palace than 425 meters long by 340 wide. But also fun. It has always seemed very pleasant stroll through the streets and relax in one of their elegant cafes. The visit to this Italian city have to take it easy because you can not see all its buildings and museums in one day.

We begin our tour of the Piazza del Duomo, which surrounds the impressive Cathedral of Santa Maria di Fiore. The exterior facade is decorated with white marble, pink and green and her right stands Il Campanile, designed by Giotto. Opposite the cathedral is the Baptistery, one of the oldest buildings in the city, Italian Romanesque style, highlight its bronze doors of Renaissance style.

Behind the cathedral is the Museum of the Opera del Duomo, where you can admire Mary Magdalene by Donatello and Michelangelo’s Pieta. The next visit is in the National Museum which houses a delas finest collections of Renaissance sculpture in Italy. It works by geniuses such as Michelangelo, Donatello and Benvenuto. If we continue our cultural tour of Florence, we will head to Palazzo degli Uffizi which houses the country’s most valuable art collection with works by Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Canaletto. Here are the famous’ Birth of Venus “and” La Primavera “by Botticelli and ‘The Virgin and Child with angels’ of Filippo Lippi.

If your idea of a great holiday is exploring unknown regions and becoming engrained in the local culture then the idea of a road trip holiday will likely prove to be appealing. There really is no greater sense of adventure than setting off in your motor and exploring new locations.

However, in order for this to be enjoyable you really have to go to the right locations. We therefore take a look at five of the best driving roads in the world.

5. Transfagarasan Highway, Romania

The Transfagarasan Highway was built in 1974 by Nicolae Ceausescu and it connects Transylvania to Wallachia. The 90km route was established between the overpowering mountains which stand either side of it using dynamite and 40 people lost their lives during its build.

One of the attractions which lies to the southern point of the route is Poienari Fortress which was the constructed under the order of Vlad the Impaler during the 15th Century. Vlad the Impaler was ruler of Wallachia between 1341 and 1476 and become notorious for his war crimes with him believed to have killed up to 100,000 during his reign and being better known as the ‘Son of the Dragon’ in reference to his almost equally notorious father. In Romanian this translates into ‘Dracula’, and it is believed that Bram Stoker’s historic literary character was indeed based on him. Transfagarasan Highway is therefore a great location for literary buffs.

4. Death Road, Bolivia

If you are a bit of an adrenalin junky and much prefer action and adventure to a good book, then the aptly named Death Road in Bolivia could well be the right place for you. Stretching out over 70km, this narrow and winding bath has an 800 metre vertical drop to the side of it which from which road users are not separated by either fencing or barriers.

However, don’t get over confident while traversing this route, as it has picked up its name for a reason with at least 18 cyclists known to have lost their lives on the path since 1998. Evidence of this is also present from the wrecked vehicles which lie at the bottom of the drop.

3. Great Ocean Road, Australia

Constructed by Australian soldiers who had returned from the 1st World War, the Great Ocean Road is the world’s largest war memorial stretching out for over 150 miles between the Victorian cities of Warrnambool and Torquay.

The road isn’t just a sight to behold for those with an interest in history, but also to those of us who simply like breath-taking scenery as the path lies right along the Western coast of the country and passes by some of the countries great natural wonders.

2. Oberalp Pass, Switzerland

The Oberalp Pass is one of the most spectacular and challenging roads in the Alps region. Located in Switzerland, the road was constructed in order to create a trade route between the GraubundenOberland and the centre of the country.

It has subsequently become much more than a trade route, becoming a mecca for road trippers. However, do bear in mind that it is closed during the winter months between October and December. During this period it tends to be used as a ski slope and toboggan run.

However, with a climb of almost 2044 metres to the top, the mountain and its winding roads are a notorious car breaker. It really is recommended that you arrange for car breakdown cover if you are planning on taking your vehicle to this destination.

1. Col de Turini, France

There really can only be one winner. The Col de Turini is the ultimately driving road, with the notoriously challenging and winding stretch having been part of the Monte Carlo rally on numerous occasions as well as being just one hour’s drive from the world famous Monte Carlo Grand Prix circuit.

It’s important role in the history of motoring as well as the beautiful picturesque landscape which surrounds it resulted in the Col de Turini being used for car chase scenes from the 1997 James Bond movie Goldeneye.

However, do not get over confident when using the road as it requires maximum concentration and has a reputation for catching out the best of them; even world rally championship stars.

First, before arriving in Barcelona is going to a good flight search, so the trip will leave at an affordable price, something that will not be difficult as the quintessential Barcelona is home base for many low-cost.

Once you and the ticket holder, you can make the trip and immerse yourself in Barcelona, ??in my view, is the most charming is, because speaking of Gaudi’s not just talk about the Holy Family, even if his work more monumental, far from it, also, for example, the neighborhood of Gracia, Casa Mila, Casa Vicens and the Casa Batlló, for example.

But one thing at obviously the Holy Family is a monument more crucial in the Barcelona scene, however, is the most visited building in Barcelona, ??as it is a building full of Gaudi creation, not only in structure, but also in decoration or symbolism, and is therefore a mainstay as a tourist attraction in the city, though, as you know, is not yet finished (and it seems to continue to work for a long time) is most worthy of a monument behold, one of the most beautiful in Spain.

Then there is the neighborhood of Gracia, which is a living example, not only by Gaudi, Barcelona modernist but altogether, a neighborhood full of houses and buildings with a charm that will leave you stunned, the perfect place to spend an afternoon, watching without the facades of buildings.

Moreover we have Casa Mila, better known as La Pedrera, with an eternal queue of tourists to visit the interior, though, to tell you the truth, the exterior deserves, and much grief.

Finally, Vicens Batlló and are also on the Paseo de Gracia, the last known for its angles, which he usually does little Gaudi. Ultimately, as you can see, Gaudi Barcelona is very worth seeing, and more, with cheap flights to Barcelona are at your fingertips, a really special trip to your doorstep.

A bit far but a paradise, that’s what this French overseas region consists of several Polynesian islands, including Tahiti. The islands cover a total area of ??4,167 km2 and include about 130. They are the Society Islands, Marquesa Islands, the Tuamotu Archipelago, Gambier Islands, the Austral and Bass. The largest and most populous island of the group is Tahiti, Society Islands in, but these islands are joined by a handful of beautiful atolls.

French Polynesia is served by 53 airports, 46 of them with paved runways, but the only international airport is the Faa and the main airline is Air Tahiti. The moderate climate is tropical, humid and with some storms in January. Round water temperature always 26 º C in winter (May to October) and 29 º C in summer (November to April). It is best to wear light clothing and sunscreen. Do you sound like Bora Bora and Papeete? Well, both are here in French Polynesia. If you are European, but do not require visa valid passport. So if you’re from Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil or Chile, for example. If so you can stay up to 90 days. Even being from Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay and many others can work without a special visa for those 90 days.

If you can stay in Tahiti excursions, knowing the Grotto Maara, Fautaua Falls, Pont Venus, the Paul Gauguin Museum and its beaches. In Bora Bora are the best beaches, helicopter rides, diving and safaris. Of course, keep in mind that everything in French Polynesia is expensive, very expensive. Not even a backpacker life is cheap.

If you wish for your flights to Dalaman to be as affordable as possible, you need to be prepared to learn the art of finding and locking in the best deal. Fortunately, there is no learning curve, and this can easily be accomplished using only your computer. The cheap flights are located online day and night, and are yours for the taking.

One word of caution would be not to fall into the trap of waiting for a better deal. When a flight is completely sold out, the option of purchasing a seat is taken off the table and will force you to possibly accept a less desirable flight. When you see a low price, go ahead and lock it in. It is not wise to assume that a better price will be made available at some point. There is no valid reason to take that chance.

Finding a good travel website will help ensure that your flights to Dalaman, and elsewhere, are always reasonably priced. Knowing where to shop is half the battle, but can easily be accomplished by taking the time to find out which website others are using to make their travel plans. It pays to follow this trail, and once you find a great travel website, you never again have to worry about shopping around when it comes time to plan your holidays.

One of the most impressive treks of the South Island of New Zealand that combines trekking and kayaking to travel 71 kms. spectacular landscapes along the northern coast. The Queen Charlotte Track is one of the best on the island along with the Abel Tasman NP, only the former has the advantage of not being as crowded or have restricted daily visits, and therefore much easier to do this and more wild .

WHERE
The track is located on the northeast corner of the South Island of New Zealand in the area known as the Marlborough Sounds, which is the most spectacular of the 3 “sounds” of the area. The nearest town is Picton, where you take a “water taxi” or a boat to “Ship Cove” the extreme end of the track from where it returns to Picton along the coast for the fjords along its sidewalks.

ROUTE
The tour I did with two travelers I met a few days before Nuria and Heather, good sidekick. After spending the night in the backpacker “Joglar Rest” of Picton, woke up early and we set off to the track, wanting to know if it fulfilled all our expectations and if he could go all the way without problems. From Picton wharf take a “water taxi” that leads to the far north of the island from there begins the trek is actually undo all that we have made that journey by boat but on a path parallel to the coast through valleys, fjords and spectacular landscapes through woods and meadows.

The trek takes place in three stages that can be done either by foot, sea kayak or a combination of both. We chose this option and decided to walk 2 days and kayaking the last stage. There are no villages on the way, nor are residential areas except for 2 family homes strategically located at the end of each stage. You can do it on your own without guides since the trails are well marked.

First Stage:
The first stage is 27 kms. that cost us almost 9 hours with rest included. The trail passes through endless forests always parallel to the sea while up and down hills. After the tour we expected a mountain home with stunning views and a grandmother who was waiting for us with tea and homemade cakes, delicious welcome after a long day!

Second Stage:
This stage is a little shorter, 23 km through forests full of Amanita muscaria and valleys changes finally reach a sort of village with a couple of houses where we stayed and ate a good dinner after such a long walk. The fatigue starts to go out and the legs begin to notice, so the option to rent kayaks for the next day is a good choice.

Stage Three:
Indeed, the kayak makes switch to relax your legs and we enjoy ourselves in another way, running the last 21 kms. by a very calm sea along fjords and observing small forests for which the previous days had gone from a different point of view. As the sea makes threading through fjords, the water is fairly quiet except when the wind picks up and it costs much progress. They are also waters which jellyfish the size of dishes are everywhere, luckily are not poisonous, and in this way with tired arms we got back to the beach in Picton, where we come to pick up and we can finally rest from our fantastic journey through some spectacular scenery as wild as.

For this reason, rather than a luxury good, it would be a good idea to give our children travel abroad for youth, a truly memorable experience and great value for today’s teens.

The first, the possibility of traveling without their parents will give young people an excellent opportunity to develop self-confidence and independence. For many, perhaps the first time have the opportunity to separate from parents, and prove how life in the real world without the constant supervision of parents.

Furthermore, traveling abroad is an experience of deep personal enrichment, in preparing to meet other cultures, other geographies and other realities. Not only do you get a substantial improvement of the language you want to learn in a few days getting the same result would be achieved after long and tedious years at an institute. The ability to speak a foreign language-speaking country provides the student with first hand knowledge about how to communicate, both verbally and culturally.

Traveling to another country can be interpreted as a generator of personal experience, because the challenge is constant from the moment you step off the plane, to be understood, and daily needs. The travel safety studies usually one of the most important priorities of the institutes are committed to lead young people to countries of destination. But contact with the daily reality of a city, without mediation by teachers or tutors, we provide a highly valuable tool when developing their communication skills and empathy with other human beings.

Another very interesting option is to spend a school year in Ireland or England. Thus, the youth will have the possibility of joining a school to finish high school, which will open the doors so great for college. We must not forget that a lot of study material is in English, regardless of the race that the young man decides to follow. Also learn how to interact and collaborate with youth of other nationalities, which could become commonplace in college or work tomorrow.
