Leisure, recreation and education in the Barranquilla Zoo
Barranquilla Zoo, is undoubtedly one of the largest zoological experience in Colombia. Its history dates from the 30′s when Thomas Suri donated to the Public Improvement Society held a lot where a collection of domestic pigeons starting a small space adapted as a zoo.

Barranquilla Zoological Park currently has a collection of 140 species in a population of 551 animals.
